Spring circular route

• Length: 16 km

• Elevation gain: 340 m

• Duration: 1.5 - 2 hours (depending on the length of the break)

• Technique / fitness: easy-medium

From spring to spring through nature. The 16 km long spring circular route leads along the “Königsquellenpark” cyclist rest area through “Hesse’s most beautiful garden” as well as through the Helental and the Bad Wildungen districts of Reinhardshausen and Reitzenhagen. This route takes you along 16 Bad Wildungen springs, 7 of which can be tapped and tasted at spring pavilions. Other springs are served in the Wandelhallen in Bad Wildungen and Reinhardshausen.

Our tip: Take a breather during your round trip with a coffee and cake in our partner hotel Göbel’s Hotel AquaVita in the Reinhardshausen district.

 

 

Eder cycle path

The Eder cycle path is a quality cycle route with 3 stars and a length of 171 km, awarded by the ADFC. Natural ground and asphalt alternate along the route, while the route leads through a charming and varied low mountain landscape.

Along old half-timbered towns, wonderful spruce and beech forests, past lonely meadows, the tour runs from Erdntebrück in North Rhine-Westphalia through the Waldecker Land past the Eder estuary into the Fulda.

Enjoy the beautiful landscapes in North Rhine-Westphalia and Hesse on your cycle tour, accompanied by the Eder.

 



Edersee Cycle Route 4 (ER)

• Duration: approx. 4.5 hours

Experience Bad Wildungen and the Edersee in one tour. This tour runs through the town of Edertal Hemfurth over the Ederauen adventure trail and follows the gently rising Wildetal at the height of Wellen. The carbonated mineral springs along the route have made the spa park in Bad Wildungen, the largest spa park in Europe, world famous.

Experience the ideal combination of Bad Wildungen and the Kellerwald-Edersee in the middle of untouched nature on this tour.

A challenging route along the Edersee with special views of the dam, the dam, Waldeck Castle and the Hammerbergspitze.
