EDERSEE TREE TOP PATH

Hesse's first TreeTopWalk blends harmoniously into the forest and allows visitors to experience the forest ecosystem in all its complexity up close. From here you can see the world from a bird's eye view and experience an unforgettable nature and forest experience. The 750 m long squirrel path is barrier-free and leads from the forest floor to the treetops. The spectacular view of the Edersee and Waldeck Castle from the viewing terrace is not to be missed.

UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE NATIONAL PARK KELLERWALD-EDERSEE

As part of the World Heritage Site "Primeval Beech Forests of the Carpathians and Ancient Beech Forests of Germany", the national park is a unique, globally outstanding natural area with genuine primeval forest relics, magnificent beech forests and rare flora and fauna.

UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE MOUNTAIN PARK KASSEL-WILHELMSHÖHE

The Wilhelmshöhe mountain park in the documenta city of Kassel has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2013. The baroque complex with the enormous castle, the Hercules statue and the 350m long cascade was built at the beginning of the 18th century. The historic water features with the Hercules figure towering above everything are an architectural and extraordinary masterpiece and offer a unique cultural landscape.

EDERSEE WILDLIFE PARK

The wildlife park offers the opportunity to experience native animals, a bird of prey flight show and the feeding of a wolf pack up close.

HIGH ROPES COURSE

Elements such as the balance beam, the Burma bridge, the twin beam, suspension and rope bridges, the hourglass or the net await you on three levels. Participants are always in pairs on the course and can choose and design their own path. Before going up, there is of course a detailed introduction to materials and safety technology.

EDERSEE BOAT TRIPS

“A sea voyage is fun!” on the ultra-modern passenger ships of the Edersee passenger shipping company. Discover the region around the Edersee from the water and experience the magical charm of this lake landscape.

SUMMER TOBOGGANING RUN

You can experience pure fun on the 850 m long summer toboggan run. Many other attractions such as quad biking, a playground, petting zoo, climbing, pedal boating or mini golf will delight all age groups.

CORN LABYRINTH

The experience for the whole family! The corn maze guarantees carefree leisure fun on over 30,000 m². In addition to finding the right path through the corn field, there are many attractions for young and old.

CITIES & SURROUNDINGS

If you want to "think outside the box" in addition to Bad Wildungen, you can use the various domiciles in the area to get to know other parts of northern Hesse. You can reach important cities and tourist strongholds in a short time. Discover, for example, the Hanseatic city of Korbach, the baroque city of Bad Arolsen with its residential palace or the famous FIS ski jumping location of Willingen.

AQUAPARK AT THE EDERSEE BARRIER

A special attraction at the Edersee dam is the Aquapark, a mini Edersee with water adventure games for young and old guests. The fun is free.

HENKEL ADVENTURE POOL

A giant 70 m water slide, a wide water slide, a parent-child area, a whitewater canal and much more await you in the Henkel outdoor pool.

CHURCH IN THE LAKE

The reconstructed church tower, which protrudes far out of the water, is considered an attraction in the Edersee holiday region.
