What services are included in the room price?

All prices are per person and night incl. rich breakfast buffet & Göbel's feel-good bonus.

All prices are final prices and include the statutory VAT of currently 7 % on accommodation only and 19 % on other services as well as service charge.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are very welcome here. We charge € 20 per pet / night (without food - max. 1 pet per room/apartment/apartment possible, others on request).

Please announce your pet's visit before arrival. Please understand that we cannot allow pets access to the wellness areas. Pets are allowed in the restaurant with reservations.

What is the Chaletpark Diemelsee?

Chaletpark Diemelsee offers you exclusive, spacious and fully equipped vacation homes for 2 - 7 people above the hotel. Enjoy freedom and privacy in combination with hotel comfort.

Are there disabled-friendly / barrier-free rooms?

Unfortunately, we do not have any disabled-accessible rooms.

Are there air-conditioned rooms & facilities?

Unfortunately, the Göbel's Seehotel does not have air-conditioned rooms or air conditioning.

Is WiFi / Internet available free of charge?

WiFi is available free of charge in all areas of our hotel including your room and the chalet park.

Are there charging stations for electric cars?

There are three charging stations for your electric car directly at the hotel (please bring a suitable charging cable).

Is smoking allowed in the hotel / in the rooms?

A good stay with us also includes a good smell. That is why all Göbel Hotels are non-smoking hotels. You are welcome to smoke on the balcony or terrace. If you smoke in your room, we will have to charge you the basic cleaning costs of € 350.

Is there a collection point for lost property?

If you have forgotten something during your last stay, please give us a call. Give us your name, room number, period of stay, lost property and your telephone number so that we can get back to you as soon as possible.

How do other guests like the hotel?

From what time are the rooms ready for check-in?

Your room will be available from 4 p.m. on the day of arrival. If you arrive earlier, we offer you two options:

1. depending on availability, we can give you your room before 4 pm. However, this cannot be guaranteed. Early check-in must always be arranged in advance.

2. you are welcome to store your luggage in our luggage room free of charge at any time and in the meantime shorten the waiting time with a tour of the city or a small coffee break.

Until what time is check-out possible?

You have until 11 a.m. on the day of departure to check out. On request and subject to availability, we can offer you a late check-out one day before departure.

How much does breakfast at the hotel cost?

The rich breakfast buffet is already included in our rates.

On request, you can also book our breakfast for €25 per person without a hotel stay, children up to 4 years are free of charge, 5-13 years pay €11 per person.

Will my food intolerance be taken into account?

Of course. If you have any food intolerances, please let us know when you make your reservation so that you can always find a wide range of dishes to enjoy.

Which meals are included in half board?

• Breakfast as a rich buffet
• Dinner as a menu or buffet

At what times is reception open?

Our reception is open daily from 7 am to 10 pm.

Can I park at the hotel?

Our hotel has two parking lots, which you are welcome to use free of charge at any time, subject to availability. It is not possible to reserve the free outdoor parking spaces.
 

Parking in the chalet park:
Each chalet has its own parking space.
Please note that access to the chalets is difficult with a sports car.

How much is the visitor's tax?

The local tourist tax is currently € 2.00 per person / night (from 14 years). This is charged separately.

How often is the intermediate cleaning done?

For ecological and sustainable reasons, we have decided to dispense with intermediate cleaning. If you still need fresh towels, please leave your bath bag outside your room door by 11 am. If you require intermediate cleaning, please hang the green door tag on your door handle outside by 11 a.m. or contact reception.

Can I hire e-bikes or bicycles at the hotel?

Bicycles are available subject to availability.

E-bikes for adults can be rented from us subject to availability:

• 1/2 day = € 25 per bike
• Full day = 45 € per bike

Storage facilities for your own bikes are available.

What are the opening hours of the “Sea SPA”?

• Sauna area: daily from 2 pm to 9 pm
  (earlier on request)
• Indoor swimming pool: daily from 7 am to 9 pm
• Outdoor pool in the chalet park: daily from 9 am to 9 pm  
  (closed from 1.11. during the winter months)
• Fitness room: daily from 8 am to 9 pm
• Wellness treatments: Monday - Tuesday and Thursday - Saturday from 10 am
  (Wednesday and Sunday closed)

How do I secure a wellness appointment?

Due to the high demand, we recommend that you reserve and coordinate your desired treatments well in advance of your booked stay. We will be happy to make a note of your preferred dates

You can contact the wellness reception by e-mail at wellness(at)hotel-diemelsee.de or by telephone on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday to Saturday on +49 5633 / 9931 100. We will also be happy to call you back.

Wellness treatments are available on Monday and Tuesday and from Thursday to Saturday from 10 am.

Treatments that are not canceled at least 24 hours before the start of the treatment will be charged at 80% of the treatment price, appointments that are not kept will be charged at 100%.

How and when can I contact the hotel reservations department?

You can reach our reservation department daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. by calling +49 5633 – 9931 0. We are also happy to receive your inquiries by e-mail at info(at)hotel-diemelsee.de.

Can our reservation requests be guaranteed?

We are happy to accept your room reservation request. Please understand, however, that for organizational reasons we cannot guarantee your reservation.

What do I need to know about the booking prices?

We always offer you up-to-date prices with a best price guarantee. You can easily find the best available rate on our website - the prices and availability depend on the time of your booking, the general demand and the occupancy of the house for the desired period. 

Please note the booking conditions, which vary depending on the rate you have chosen, in terms of prices and cancellation conditions before you select your rate. The conditions cannot be changed at a later date. You can find our cancellation conditions in the terms and conditions attached to your booking confirmation.

Are group bookings possible at the hotel?

For reservations of several rooms, simply send us an e-mail to info(at)hotel-diemelsee.de.

Regardless of the regular occupancy, we only have a certain number of rooms available for groups per day. We will be happy to check this individually for your request.

What payment options are available at the hotel?

You can pay at check-in or check-out at reception. You can pay with cash, EC card, American Express, VISA, Maestro and Mastercard. To guarantee your booking, prepayment by credit card is required, a debit card cannot be used.

What is the procedure for canceling or changing bookings?

Cancellations are only valid in writing.

►The following applies to all stays:
Your booking can be canceled free of charge up to 5 days in advance*.

*Excluding public holidays, deals, trade fairs, conferences, events, major events in Willingen, company rates. Public holidays can be canceled free of charge up to 14 days in advance, Christmas & New Year's Eve up to 21 days in advance. Special conditions apply for bookings of overnight stays incl. breakfast.

In accordance with DEHOGA guidelines, 90% of the accommodation or arrangement price will be charged for later cancellation or no-show, and 100% for rates and arrangements that cannot be canceled free of charge (if you have not taken out Safety First vacation insurance or travel cancellation insurance).

What is vacation insurance?

If unforeseeable events occur that make it impossible for you to start or complete your vacation, you can protect yourself against cancellation fees of up to 90% with our accident vacation insurance for a small fee starting at just €20 per person (calculated based on the number of overnight stays). We will be happy to send you the documents on request.

My company will cover the costs - what do I need to bear in mind?

It is important to note that we can only accept the assumption of costs if a company credit card is provided, from which we can debit the corresponding amount. Invoicing with subsequent bank transfer is only possible after prior written declaration of assumption of costs. After your departure, the specified card will be charged and you will receive the invoice by e-mail.

We take data protection very seriously. We therefore ask for your understanding that, for security reasons, we cannot store credit card information manually. You can either fill out the form during the online booking process or alternatively use the corresponding form via a secure link when making a telephone inquiry.

Is my data safe with Göbel Hotels?

Your booking and your data are absolutely secure with us - this applies in particular to your credit card information and other personal data. We guarantee this via a secure https server; in addition, all booking information is SSL-encrypted and takes place in an appropriate environment.
