Getting here by car

You can reach our Göbel’s Sophien Hotel from all directions via the A4 motorway exit Eisenach West:

• Towards the centre, Frankfurter Straße
• 3rd left at the traffic lights before the railway underpass, towards the race course (Rennbahn)
• 2nd right at the junction into Clemdastraße
• 3rd street on the right into Sophienstraße
• 1st street on the right into Fritz-Erbe-Straße
• the entrance to Sophien Hotel is on the right-hand side

Or you can simply follow the green hotel signs towards the hotel until the signs indicate the Sophien Hotel. You will find us near the Eisenach Theatre.

Please note:

At the Göbel’s Sophien Hotel there is an underground car park and a car park, which you are welcome to use FOR A FEE.

Arriving by train

In front of the station you go right over the bus station. On the right you come to the Schillerstraße when you go straight ahead the Suzuki car dealership. After approx. 300 m this street leads into Sophienstraße. After 290 m you reach the hotel.

Alternatively there are taxis at the train station of Eisenach or rather there is the "Taxi centre at the station" - tel no. +49 (0)3691 / 29 00 0.

Going by bike - from the station

In front of the station you go on the Bahnhofstraße rwestbound (right). After 400 m you pass the Nikolaitor. Behind the Nikolaitor you turn right into Nikolaistraße. After approx. 160 m you turn left into Sophienstraße. After 290 m you reach our hotel. Turn right into Fritz-Erbe-Straße and use the entrance to the underground car park right behind the hotel. Here you can leave your bikes for free.
