In our FAQ's you will find everything you need to know about the Göbel's Schlosshotel "Prinz von Hessen".
Notes on the current situation
Hotel information
All prices are per person and night and include breakfast and dinner.

If you don't want to book with half-board, you get a credit of 19 €. Other services which are not used can't be refunded.
All prices are final prices and include the current statutory VAT of 7 % on the accommodation itself and 19 % for the other services as well as the service charge. We reserve the right to adapt the prices in the event of an inflation or VAT increase and adapt the prices to the present situation. All previous price lists lose their validity then.
What additional services can be booked?
You can book the following additional services with us:
Half board deluxe per person / night: 59 €
includes:
• 4-course evening menu or buffet with 4 main courses to choose from
• 1 x bottle of water with dinner
• daily afternoon snack buffet with hot drinks
• water, tea and coffee in the wellness area
For families with children we offer attractive kid's prices:
up to 4 years: free
from 5 to 9 years: 42 €
from 10 to 14 years: 62 €
Prices are per child and night in the parents' room (with at least one full-paying adult) and including breakfast and dinner from the kids' menu with dessert or one main course with dessert from the menu/buffet. If the adults booked half-board, children are invited for dinner.
For your wellbeing during your stay, you can benefit from our Göbel Bonus. This includes:
• free use of the 2.000 m² spa area "Kristall SPA“ with Finish sauna, steam sauna, bio sauna, indoor pool (8 m x 10 m) with whirlpools, outdoor pool (6 m x 10 m) with terrace, attractive quiet zones, library, exclusive SPA suite and SPA bistro
• a bathing bag with towels and a bathrobe is provided for the duration of your stay (bathrobes are in your room - on request we offer different sizes)
• kids / family bonus: on request you find everything in your room that you need for your children. If the adults booked half-board, children are invited for dinner.
• fit & fun bonus: fitness room with modern training equipment, changing sports and activity programs, gym for yoga, pilates and other courses, e-bike, mountainbike, nordic walking sticks and sledge rental, various tips for hiking or biking routes as well as trips in the beautiful region including rental of maps
• accomodation bonus: from 5 nights in our "göbel´s auszeit" you get a 25 € voucher per room for our wellness area (not transferable)

Stay
On the day of your arrival, your room is available from 3 pm. If you wish to arrive earlier, there are two possiblities:
1. If available, we can give you a room before 3 pm (for surcharge). We can't guarantee it, so an early check-in should always be arranged before arrival with our reception.
2. In our baggage room, you can keep your luggage for free at any time. Shorten your wait with a city tour or a little coffee break.
We kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11 am on the day of departure. If you would like to keep your room longer, a late check-out (until 2 pm) may be arranged if available and on request (if possible at check-in at the latest). For a check-out after 2 pm we calculate an additional charge of 80 €.
Breakfast is served from 7 am to 10.30 am Monday through Friday, and from 7 am to 11 am on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
In our prices breakfast is already included
On request you can also book our breakfast for 27 € per person without a stay in our hotel.
Breakfast is free for children aged 0 - 5 and 13.50 € for children aged 5 - 12.
Opening hours restaurant:
We offer a little selection of food from our bistro menu - daily from 11 am to 11 pm.
For Lunch we offer our daily menu from 12 pm to 14 pm.
Dinner is served daily from 6 pm to 9.30 pm.
lounge: daily from 11 am
spa bistro: daily from 11 am to 6 pm
Should you have any food intolerances, don't hesitate to tell us directly with your reservation so that you can always find a wide range of food.
When you have booked half-board: breakfast from buffet, dinner as menu with 4 main courses at choice or from evening buffet.
Wellness area "Kristall SPA" on 2.000 m2:
- an indoor and outdoor pool (year-round) with a sun deck
- various Jacuzzis
- an adjacent wellness garden with a sunbathing area
- the sauna area with five different saunas: 90° steam room, 60° bio sauna, physiotherm infrared cabin, steam bath, salt room
- the ice fountain
- attractive relax rooms including a fireplace lounge and hammocks
- a wellness area with 12 elegant treatment rooms for soothing treatments
- the private spa suite, a private indulgence paradise for undisturbed wellness moments in which luxury and time together as a couple are a matter of course. The comforts that couples can enjoy for a day include their own sauna, a double jacuzzi, partner massage loungers, a four-poster bed, a fireplace lounge, snacks, as well as their own terrace. - SPA reception: daily 9 am to 6 pm
- indoor pool: daily 7 am to 10 pm
- heated outdoor pool: daily from 7 am (depending on the season)
- sauna area: daily 10 am to 9 pm
- wellness shop: daily 10 am to 6 pm
- fitness room: daily 7 am to 10 pm
Owing to the large demand, we recommend to reserve and coordinate your wellness treatments prior to the booked stay in order to ensure your desired appointment. We note your desired appointment but can't guarantee it. You can reach the wellness reception via mail wellness(at)goebels-schlosshotel.de or telephone on +49 (0)6674 / 9224-167. We are available daily from 10 am to 6 pm. We also call you back.
Treatments which aren't cancelled at least 24 hours before your appointment will be charged with 80 % of the treatment price. If you don't keep your appointment at all, we charge 100 %.
You are looking for a nice present for a birthday, anniversary or to say thank you? There are many and various opportunities to give happiness. With a Göbel Hotels voucher you give time for a festive dinner, pampering wellness treatment or comfortable stay.
You have two possibilities to buy a voucher:

Please make your reservation with a voucher via telephone, so we can check directly if the appropiate room or the arrangement is available at your desired date. Please notice: Your voucher is only usable with valid voucher number and has to be presented at your arrival.
Voucher are valid for 3 years and only redeemable on request and availability.

Booking
You can reach our reservation Monday through Friday from 8 am to 6 pm via telephone +49 (0)6674 – 9224 0. Saturdays, Sundays and on public holidays we are available from 10 am to 6 pm. We are also pleased to take your request via e-mail info(at)goebels-schlosshotel.de. In addition, you can book comfortably and at any time via our website.
We offer you the latest prices of the day with best price guarantee at any time. At the moment of your request, you get the best available rate on our website. Before choosing the rate, please notice the booking conditions which differ in prices and cancellation conditions depending on the chosen rate. You can't adapt the conditions later. You can get our cancellation conditions also from the general business terms and conditions in the attachment of your booking confirmation.
For the reservation of several rooms you can send us an e-mail to info(at)goebels-schlosshotel.de. Regardless of the regular occupancy, there is only a limited number of rooms per day for groups. We will check it for your individual request.
Cancellations are only accepted in written form.
â–º For every stay applies:
You can cancel free of charge up to 2 days before your arrival*.
*Stays within the week (arrival days Sun to Thu) can be cancelled free of charge up to 2 days before arrival; for stays at the weekend (arrival days Fri and Sat) applies up to 5 days before arrival free of charge.
Except holidays, deals, fair periods, conferences, meetings, events, corporate rates. Public holidays can be cancelled free of charge up to 14 days in advance, Christmas & New Year's Eve up to 21 days in advance. Separate conditions apply for overnight stays including breakfast.
For a later cancellation or in case of no-show, according to DEHOGA guidelines 90 % of the lodging or arrangement price will be charged, for rates and arrangements that cannot be cancelled free of charge 100 % (if you have not taken out our Safety First vacation coverage or a travel cancellation insurance).
Please be sure to read the booking conditions before making a reservation. To cancel or make changes, you can always use the link in the confirmation or contact us by phone. If you book via external portals, please cancel directly via the corresponding portal.

If unforeseen events occur and make it impossible for you to start or finish your vacation, you can protect yourself against cancellation fees of up to 90 % for a small fee starting at 15 € per person (calculated based on the number of nights) with our accidental holiday insurance. We will gladly send you the documents on request. More information also here >>
For the assumption of costs it is important to notice that we can only accept it giving us the dates of a company credit card from which we can debit the relevant amount. Invoicing with following transfer is only possible with previous written assumption of costs declaration. After your departure, the indicated card will be charged and you get the invoice via email.
We take data protection seriously and therefore ask for your understanding that we can't store manually credit card information for safety reasons. Either you can fill in the contact form during your online booking process or alternatively use the corresponding form via a secured link when you request via telephone.
