Brewery

The Hotel “Brauhaus zum Löwen” is the only brewery remaining in the Unstrut-Hainich district. In a cosy guesthouse atmosphere, right by the brewing kettles, you can look over our master brewer’s shoulder on at least one day each week as he prepares the brew. In our brewery, the “Reichsstädtische Pilsener” and the “Apotheker Dunkel” as well as seasonal beers are brewed year-round in the traditional manner of the craft and, of course, in strict adherence to the German purity law of 1516.
