What services are included in the room price?

All prices are per person and night including a rich breakfast buffet.

All prices are final prices and include the statutory VAT of currently 7 % on accommodation only and 19 % on other services as well as service charge.
We reserve the right to adjust prices to the current situation in the event of inflation or an increase in VAT. All previous price lists will then lose their validity.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are very welcome here. We charge €15 per pet per night (without food - max. 1 pet per room/apartment/apartment possible, others on request).

Please announce the visit of your pet before arrival. We are happy to provide a dog bowl and dog treats.

Are there disabled-friendly / barrier-free rooms?

We have 4 barrier-free rooms and a lift in the new building, please call us to enquire about availability for your desired travel period.

We have also been certified with the ‘Travelling for All’ quality seal and therefore offer barrier-free access and excellent service for guests with a wide range of needs.

Are there air-conditioned rooms & facilities?

Unfortunately, the Hotel Brauhaus zum Löwen does not have air-conditioned rooms or air conditioning.

Is WiFi/ Internet available free of charge?

Wi-Fi is available free of charge in all areas of our hotel and in your room.

Are there charging stations for electric cars?

There are charging points for your electric car at the hotel (please bring a suitable charging cable), which you can use subject to availability and for a fee.

Is smoking allowed in the hotel / in the rooms?

A good stay with us also includes a good smell. That is why all Göbel Hotels are non-smoking hotels. You are welcome to smoke on the balcony or terrace. In the event of an offence, we will have to charge you the basic cleaning costs of € 350 for this reason.

Is there a collection point for lost property?

If you have forgotten something during your last stay, please give us a call. Give us your name, room number, period of stay, lost property and your telephone number so that we can get back to you as soon as possible.

How do other guests like the hotel?

From what time are the rooms ready for check-in?

Your room will be available from 3 pm on the day of arrival. If you arrive earlier, there are two options:

1. depending on availability, we may be able to give you a room before 3 pm. However, this depends on availability at the time and cannot be guaranteed. Early check-in must always be arranged in advance.

2. you are welcome to store your luggage in our luggage room free of charge at any time and shorten the waiting time in the meantime with a tour of the city or a short coffee break.

Until what time is check-out possible?

You have until 11 am on the day of departure to check out. On request and depending on availability, we can offer you a late check-out until 5 pm one day before departure (€10 per hour).

How much does breakfast at the hotel cost?

You can book our breakfast buffet at the time of your reservation or at check-in.
The extensive breakfast buffet is already included in some rates.

On request, you can also book our breakfast for €19.90 per person without a hotel stay.

What are the meal times and opening hours of the restaurants?

• Breakfast: Monday to Friday from 6.30am - 10am,
Saturday & Sunday from 7am to 10am

• Restaurant: Sunday to Thursday from 11am - 11pm,
Friday & Saturday from 11am - midnight,

• Hot meals: daily from 11 am - 2 pm & from 5 pm - 9.30 pm

Which meals are included in half board?

• Breakfast as an extensive buffet
• Dinner as an extensive hot and cold buffet or 3-course menu (chef's choice)

At what times is reception open?

Reception is open daily from 7 am to 9 pm.

You will receive your hotel and room key outside the specified reception hours in the main building of our hotels in the Tenne restaurant (daily until midnight). If you arrive after midnight, please let us know. We will then deposit your key in the key safe (with personal pin code), which is located in the underground car park in the ‘La Villa’ area.

Can I park at the hotel?

Our hotel has outdoor and underground car parks, which you are welcome to use at any time subject to availability. The car parks are subject to a charge, the current daily rate is €9 per car and €4.50 per motorbike. Pre-booking is unfortunately not possible.

There is also a lockable bicycle and motorbike storage room (100^m2) in our car park.

Can I hire e-bikes or bicycles at the hotel?

You can hire Riese & Müller e-bikes (German bike manufacturer) from us, subject to availability.

Price: 30 € per day

Can I use a swimming pool at the hotel?

Not directly, but in the immediate vicinity of the hotel (approx. 150 metres) is the Thüringentherme:

• Sports pool with waves
• 3 metre tower
• giant slide
• Five different swimming pools
• sauna area

Use our practical guest bathing bag for the duration of your stay with bathrobe and towels for wellness and bathing fun.

How and when can I contact the hotel reservations department?

You can contact our reservations department from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm on +49 3601 – 471 0. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays we are available from 10 am to 6 pm. We are also happy to receive your enquiries by e-mail at info(at)brauhaus-zum-loewen.de.

You can also book easily and conveniently at any time via our website.
As a thank you for your direct booking via our website, we will give you 1 glass of home-brewed beer per person.

Can our reservation requests be guaranteed?

We are happy to accept your room reservation request. Please understand, however, that for organisational reasons we are unable to guarantee your reservation.

What do I need to know about the booking prices?

We always offer you up-to-date prices with best price guarantee. You can easily find the best available rate on our website - the prices and availability depend on the time of your booking, the general demand and the occupancy of the house for the desired period.

Please note the booking conditions, which vary in price and cancellation conditions depending on the rate selected, before you choose your rate. The conditions cannot be adjusted at a later date. You can find our cancellation conditions in the terms and conditions attached to your booking confirmation.

Are group bookings possible at the hotel?

For reservations of several rooms, simply send us an e-mail to info(at)brauhaus-zum-loewen.de.

Regardless of the regular occupancy, we only have a certain number of rooms available for groups per day. We will be happy to check this individually for your enquiry.

What payment options are available at the hotel?

You can pay at check-in or check-out at reception. You can pay with cash, EC card, VISA, Diners, American Express, Maestro and Mastercard. To guarantee your booking, prepayment by credit card or Paypal is required, a debit card cannot be used.

What about cancellations or changes to bookings?

Cancellations are only valid in writing.

Your booking can be cancelled free of charge up to 5 days in advance*.

*Except public holidays, deals, trade fairs, conferences, events, corporate rates.Public holidays can be cancelled free of charge up to 14 days in advance, Christmas & New Year's Eve up to 21 days in advance.Special conditions apply for bookings of overnight stays including breakfast.

According to DEHOGA guidelines, 90% of the accommodation or arrangement price will be charged for later cancellations or no-shows, and 100% for rates and arrangements that cannot be cancelled free of charge (if you have not taken out travel cancellation insurance).

My company will cover the costs - what do I need to bear in mind?

It is important to note that we can only accept the assumption of costs if a company credit card is provided, from which we can debit the corresponding amount. Invoicing with subsequent bank transfer is only possible after prior written declaration of assumption of costs. After your departure, the specified card will be charged and you will receive the invoice by email.

We take data protection very seriously. We therefore ask for your understanding that for security reasons we are unable to store credit card information manually. You can either fill in the form during the online booking process or alternatively use the corresponding form via a secure link when making a telephone enquiry.

Is my data safe with Göbel Hotels?

Your booking and your data are absolutely secure with us - this applies in particular to your credit card details and other personal data. We guarantee this via a secure https server. In addition, all booking information is SSL-encrypted and takes place in an appropriate environment.
