What services are included in the room price?

All prices are per person and night incl. rich breakfast buffet & Göbel's feel-good bonus.

All prices are final prices and include the statutory VAT of currently 7% on accommodation only and 19% on other services as well as service charge.

Are there discounts for children?

We offer attractive fixed children's prices for families with children:

Children 0 - 4 years: free of charge
Children 5 - 9 years: 48 € (incl. All Inclusive Light: 58 €)
Children 10 - 14 years: 68 € (incl. All Inclusive Light: 83 €)

The prices are per child / night in the parents' room with at least one full-paying adult including breakfast.
Children are invited to dinner if the accompanying adults have booked half board.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are very welcome here. We charge a cleaning fee of € 20 per pet for a stay of up to 5 days (without food - max. 1 pet per room/apartment/apartment possible, more on request). From a stay of 5 nights, the cleaning fee of 20 € will be charged twice.

Please announce your pet's visit before arrival. Please understand that we cannot allow pets access to the restaurant and wellness areas.

Are there disabled-friendly / barrier-free rooms?

There are two disabled-friendly rooms available in our Pergola guest house. 
The connecting corridor from the main house to the guest house is not barrier-free. There is a barrier-free route via the outdoor area.

We do not have any barrier-free rooms in our main building.

Are there air-conditioned rooms & facilities?

The restaurant area in the Hotel Rodenberg is air-conditioned. The individual rooms do not have air conditioning.

Is WiFi / Internet available free of charge?

WiFi is available free of charge in all areas of our hotel and in your room.

Are there charging stations for electric cars?

There are three charging stations for your electric car at the hotel (please bring a suitable charging cable), which you can use subject to availability, with advance notice and for a fee.

What is the Göbel's WohlfühlBonus?

It includes the following services:

• Use of the “Rodenberg SPA” bathing experience world with swimming pool & outdoor pool, wild water channel, hot whirlpool, Finnish sauna, bio sauna, salt grotto, steam bath, ice fountain, relaxation areas, sun deck (free of charge on the day of arrival from 1 pm and on the day of departure on request)
• Bathing bag with bath towel and cozy bathrobe for the duration of your stay (bathrobes are available in the rooms - different sizes are available on request)
• Use of the fitness room with high-quality sports equipment
• Free entry to the Koala Kids World indoor play park
• Free use of the 9-hole indoor mini golf course
• Free use of the bowling alley and sports hall (subject to availability)
• free bike rental for adults (subject to availability), [e-bike rental for a fee]
• Free underground parking space (subject to availability)
• WLAN free of charge

Is the hotel suitable for a hiking vacation?

We are “Wanderbares Deutschland” quality hosts and are therefore ideally equipped for hikers.

Our PLUS for hikers includes

• Storage tray for hiking boots on request
• Cleaning equipment to borrow
• Healthy & varied breakfast
• Filling of water bottles
• Rental of: Seat cushions, umbrellas, thermal bottles, hiking poles, Nordic walking poles, rucksacks, binoculars

Is the hotel suitable for a cycling vacation?

Our hotel is certified by the adfc (Allgemeiner Deutscher Fahrrad-Club) as a bed + bike establishment and is therefore perfectly prepared for cyclists and the needs of cycling vacationers.

We fulfill the following services & quality criteria for cycling tourists:

• Stay for 1 night possible

• Lockable room for storing bikes overnight

• Room for drying clothes & equipment

• Rich and wholesome breakfast offer

• Weather information

• Provision of cycle maps and cycle tour guides with excursion destinations

• Contact to bike workshop

• Overnight laundry service (for a fee)

• Additional services such as bike hire and rental bikes, WLAN use, packed lunch to take away (for a fee), e-bike hire (for a fee), e-bike charging station, luggage transfer

Is the hotel suitable for motorcyclists?

Definitely: Our hotel has been awarded ADAC certification as a “motorcycle-friendly hotel”.

We fulfill the following services and quality criteria:

• Secure and covered motorcycle parking spaces and parking facilities

• Drying room / facilities for motorcycle clothing

• Cleaning materials and tools for minor repairs

• Free tour suggestions and excursion tips for the surrounding area as well as road maps

We also meet all other criteria for motorcycle enthusiasts in the areas of facilities, service and gastronomic services, which have been defined as a condition for the quality seal. We ensure a relaxed vacation for motorcyclists as guests and make an important contribution to the development of tourism in the vacation regions.

Is smoking allowed in the hotel / in the rooms?

A good stay with us also includes a good smell. That is why all Göbel Hotels are non-smoking hotels. You are welcome to smoke on the balcony or terrace. If you smoke in your room, we will have to charge you the basic cleaning costs of € 350.

Is there a collection point for lost property?

If you have forgotten something during your last stay, please give us a call. Give us your name, room number, period of stay, lost property and your telephone number so that we can get back to you as soon as possible.

How do other guests like the hotel?

From what time are the rooms ready for check-in?

Your room will be available from 3 pm on the day of arrival. If you arrive earlier, we offer you two options:

1. depending on availability, we can give you your room before 3 pm. However, this cannot be guaranteed. Early check-in must always be arranged in advance.

2. you are welcome to store your luggage in our luggage room free of charge at any time and in the meantime shorten the waiting time with a tour of the city or a small coffee break.

Until what time is check-out possible?

You have until 10.30 am on the day of departure to check out. On request and depending on availability, we can offer you a late check-out for an additional charge.

How much does breakfast at the hotel cost?

Our rates already include the extensive breakfast buffet.

On request, you can also book our breakfast for €21.50 per person without a hotel stay.

What are the meal times and opening hours of the restaurants?

• Breakfast: daily from 7 am to 10 am

• Hot meals throughout the day: daily from 12 noon to 9 pm

• In-house patisserie: daily from 2.30 pm to 4 pm

• Lounge & hotel bar: open daily until max. 1.00 a.m.

• Rodenberg Alm (approx. 500 m from the hotel, table reservations via reception): Saturday from 11 a.m., Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

You can also buy snacks and drinks in our store in the foyer of the main building or from our 24-hour vending machine in the foyer of the Pergola guest house.

Will my food intolerance be taken into account?

Of course. If you have any food intolerances, please let us know when you make your reservation so that you can always find a wide range of dishes to enjoy.

Which meals are included in half board?

• Breakfast as a rich buffet
• Dinner as a cold-warm buffet

At what times is reception open?

Our reception is open daily from 6.30 am to 10 pm.

Kann ich am Hotel parken?

Our hotel has 250 free outdoor parking spaces as well as an underground garage, which can also be used free of charge subject to availability.

It is not possible to reserve the free parking spaces.

How much is the visitor's tax?

The current local tourist tax is charged separately for guests aged 14 and over.

• 1,00 € per person / night

• from 1st April 2025: 1,50 € per person / night

Can I hire e-bikes or bicycles at the hotel?

Bicycles for adults can be hired free of charge from reception or ordered for larger groups.

E-bikes for adults can be hired from us subject to availability and for a fee.

There is a large bike corner with an e-bike charging station and repair accessories in our underground garage.
You will find a cleaning station with a high-pressure cleaner to the right of the main entrance.

What are the opening hours of the “Rodenberg SPA” adventure pool world?

• Swimming pool: daily 7 am to 9.30 pm
• Outdoor pool: open daily
• Finnish sauna (90 °C): daily from 7 am to 9.30 pm
• Bio sauna, steam bath, salt grotto, outdoor sauna: available on request
• Fitness room: daily from 7 am to 9.30 pm
• Wellness treatments: daily from 10 am

The Bade-Erlebniswelt can be used from 1 pm on the day of arrival and even longer on the day of departure on request.

NOTE: The swimming pool and sauna area are currently reserved for our hotel guests only. Access to the sauna area is only permitted from the age of 16.

Can I use the swimming pool & sauna area as a day guest?

Currently, use of the swimming pool and sauna area in the Rodenberg SPA is reserved for our hotel guests only.

How do I secure a wellness appointment?

Due to the high demand, we recommend that you reserve and coordinate your desired treatments well in advance of your booked stay. We will be happy to make a note of your preferred dates.

Our staff in the beauty department are there for you every day from 10 am.

Treatments that are not canceled at least 24 hours before the start of treatment will be charged at 80% of the treatment price, appointments that are not kept will be charged at 100%.

How and when can I reach the reservations department at the hotel?

Can our reservation requests be guaranteed?

We are happy to accept your room reservation request. Please understand, however, that for organizational reasons we cannot guarantee your reservation.

What do I need to know about the booking prices?

We offer daily updated prices with best price guarantee. You can easily obtain the best available rate on our website - the prices and availability depend on the time of your booking, the general demand and the occupancy of the house for the desired period. 

Please note the booking conditions, which vary depending on the rate you have chosen, in terms of prices and cancellation conditions before you select your rate. The conditions cannot be changed at a later date. You can find our cancellation conditions in the terms and conditions attached to your booking confirmation.

Are group bookings possible at the hotel?

For reservations of several rooms, simply send us an e-mail to info(at)goebels-rodenberg.de.

Regardless of the regular occupancy, we only have a certain number of rooms available for groups per day. We will be happy to check this individually for your request.

What payment options are available at the hotel?

You can pay at check-in or check-out at reception. You can pay with cash, EC card, American Express, VISA, Maestro and Mastercard. To guarantee your booking, prepayment by credit card or Paypal is required, a debit card cannot be used.

What about cancelations or changes to bookings?

Cancellations are only valid in writing.

►The following applies to all stays:
Your booking can be canceled free of charge up to 5 days in advance*.

*Excluding public holidays, deals, trade fairs, conferences, events, corporate rates. Public holidays can be canceled free of charge up to 14 days in advance, Christmas & New Year's Eve up to 21 days in advance. Special conditions apply for bookings of overnight stays incl. breakfast.

According to DEHOGA guidelines, 90 % of the accommodation or arrangement price will be charged for later cancellation or no-show, 100 % for rates and arrangements that cannot be canceled free of charge (if you have not taken out Safety First vacation insurance or travel cancellation insurance).

What is vacation insurance?

If unforeseeable events occur that make it impossible for you to start or complete your vacation, you can protect yourself against cancellation fees of up to 90% with our accident vacation insurance for a small fee starting at just €20 per person (calculated based on the number of overnight stays). We will be happy to send you the documents on request.

My company will cover the costs - what do I need to bear in mind?

It is important to note that we can only accept the assumption of costs if a company credit card is provided, from which we can debit the corresponding amount. Invoicing with subsequent bank transfer is only possible after prior written declaration of assumption of costs. After your departure, the specified card will be charged and you will receive the invoice by e-mail.

We take data protection very seriously. We therefore ask for your understanding that, for security reasons, we cannot store credit card information manually. You can either fill out the form during the online booking process or alternatively use the corresponding form via a secure link when making a telephone inquiry.

Is my data safe with Göbel Hotels?

Your booking and your data are absolutely secure with us - this applies in particular to your credit card information and other personal data. We guarantee this via a secure https server; in addition, all booking information is SSL-encrypted and takes place in an appropriate environment.
