What services are included in the room price?

All prices are per person and night including a rich breakfast buffet & Göbel's feel-good bonus.

All prices are final prices and include the statutory VAT of currently 7 % on the pure overnight stay and 19 % for the other services as well as the service charge.

Please refer to the respective offer pages for the services included in our arrangements.

We reserve the right to adjust prices to the current situation in the event of inflation or an increase in VAT. All previous price lists will then lose their validity.

What additional services can be booked?

You can book the following services with us:

• Half board per person / night: 31 €

• Extra bed for 3rd person in room incl. breakfast: from 55 €

• Fulda side surcharge per room / night: € 30

• Pet: 15 € per pet / night

• Underground parking space per night: € 7.50

• E-bike rental (subject to availability): 35 € per bike / day

Are pets allowed?

Pets are very welcome here. We charge €15 per pet per night (without food - max. 1 pet per room / accommodation unit / apartment possible, more only on request). 

Please announce your pet's visit before arrival.

Pets are allowed in the restaurant with reservations (under the table and if they behave quietly). Please understand that we cannot allow pets access to the sauna and fitness areas.

Handicapped accessible / barrier-free rooms

Are there rooms with disabled access / barrier-free rooms?
We have 1 disabled-accessible room with a French bed (1.60 m wide). Access to the restaurant and hotel bar is at ground level, and our hotel also has an elevator. 

When booking your room, please let us know that you require a disabled or wheelchair-friendly room.

Are air-conditioned rooms & facilities available?

The restaurant area in the Posthotel has ventilation, unfortunately the rooms do not have air conditioning.

Is WiFi / Internet available free of charge?

WiFi is available free of charge in all areas of our hotel and in your room.

Is the hotel suitable for a cycling vacation?

Absolutely, our hotel is very popular with cyclists!

That's why it is certified by the adfc (Allgemeiner Deutscher Fahrrad-Club) as a bed + bike establishment and is therefore perfectly prepared for cyclists and the needs of cycling vacationers.
We fulfill the following services and quality criteria for cyclists:

• Stay for 1 night possible
• Lockable room for storing bikes overnight
• Possibility to dry clothes & equipment
• Rich and wholesome breakfast offer
• Provision of cycling maps and cycling guides with excursion destinations
• Contact to bike workshop
• Additional services such as bike hire and rental, WLAN use, packed lunch to take away (for a fee), e-bike hire (€35 per bike/day), e-bike charging station, luggage transfer

Is smoking allowed in the hotel / in the rooms?

A good stay with us also includes a good smell. That is why all Göbel Hotels are non-smoking hotels. You are welcome to smoke on the balcony or terrace. In the event of a violation, we will have to charge you the basic cleaning costs of € 350 for this reason.

Is there a collection point for lost property?

If you have forgotten something during your last stay, please give us a call. Give us your name, room number, period of stay, lost property and your telephone number so that we can get back to you as soon as possible.

How do other guests like the hotel?

From what time are the rooms ready for check-in?

Your room will be available from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival. If you arrive earlier, there are two options:

1. depending on availability, we may be able to give you a room before 3 pm. However, this depends on availability at the time and cannot be guaranteed. Early check-in must always be arranged in advance.

2. you are welcome to store your luggage free of charge at our reception at any time and shorten the waiting time in the meantime with a tour of the city or a short coffee break.

Until what time is check-out possible?

You have until 11 am on the day of departure to check out. On request and depending on availability, we can offer you a late check-out until 3 pm one day before departure for an additional charge of € 30.

How much does breakfast at the hotel cost?

Our rates already include the extensive breakfast buffet.

On request, you can also book our breakfast for €19 per person without a hotel stay.

At what times is reception open?

Our reception is open daily from 6 am to 10 pm.

Can I park at the hotel?

Our hotel has 50 free parking spaces directly at the hotel. If you would like to reserve a parking space, we can reserve one for you in our underground garage at a daily rate of €7.50.

What are the facilities in the sauna and fitness area?

You can look forward to:

• Finnish log sauna (90°) - can be switched on on request
• Roman steam bath - can be switched on on request
• Experience showers
• Relaxing rest areas
• Fitness room with modern training equipment

A swimming pool (7 am - 11 pm) and the wellness and beauty lounge are located in our partner hotel Göbel's Hotel Rodenberg. You are welcome to use these with a Day SPA ticket and on request (if not included in the package, then for a fee).

How and when can I contact the hotel reservations department?

You can reach our reservation department from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm by calling +49 6623 – 931 0. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays we are available from 10 am to 6 pm. We are also happy to receive your inquiries by e-mail at info(at)posthotel-rotenburg.de.

You can also book easily and conveniently at any time via our website.

What do I need to know about the booking prices?

We offer daily updated prices with best price guarantee. You can easily get the best available rate on our website - the prices and availability depend on the time of your booking, the general demand and the occupancy of the house for the desired period.

Please note the booking conditions, which vary depending on the rate you have chosen, in terms of prices and cancellation conditions before you select your rate. The conditions cannot be changed at a later date. You can find our cancellation conditions in the terms and conditions attached to your booking confirmation.

Are group bookings possible at the hotel?

For reservations of several rooms, simply send us an e-mail to info(at)posthotel-rotenburg.de.

Regardless of the regular occupancy, we only have a certain number of rooms available for groups per day. We will be happy to check this individually for your request.

What payment options are available at the hotel?

You can pay at check-in or check-out at reception. You can pay with cash, EC card, VISA, American Express, Maestro and Mastercard. To guarantee your booking, prepayment by credit card or Paypal is required, a debit card cannot be used.

What about cancelations or changes to bookings?

Cancellations are only valid in writing.

Your booking can be canceled free of charge up to 5 days in advance*.

*Excluding public holidays, deals, trade fairs, conferences, events, corporate rates. Public holidays can be canceled free of charge up to 14 days in advance, Christmas & New Year's Eve up to 21 days in advance. Special conditions apply for bookings of overnight stays including breakfast.

In accordance with DEHOGA guidelines, 90% of the accommodation or arrangement price will be charged for later cancellation or no-show, and 100% for rates and arrangements that cannot be canceled free of charge (if you have not taken out Safety First vacation insurance or travel cancellation insurance).

What is vacation insurance?

If unforeseeable events occur that make it impossible for you to start or complete your vacation, you can protect yourself against cancellation fees of up to 90% with our accident vacation insurance for a small fee starting at just €20 per person (calculated based on the number of overnight stays). We will be happy to send you the documents on request.

My company covers the costs - what do I need to bear in mind?

It is important to note that we can only accept the assumption of costs if a company credit card is provided, from which we can debit the corresponding amount. Invoicing with subsequent bank transfer is only possible after prior written declaration of assumption of costs. After your departure, the specified card will be charged and you will receive the invoice by email.

We take data protection very seriously. We therefore ask for your understanding that, for security reasons, we cannot store credit card information manually. You can either fill out the form during the online booking process or alternatively use the corresponding form via a secure link when making a telephone inquiry.

Is my data safe with Göbel Hotels?

Your booking and your data are absolutely secure with us - this applies in particular to your credit card information and other personal data. We guarantee this via a secure https server; in addition, all booking information is SSL-encrypted and takes place in an appropriate environment.
