"K1" is the world's first 8-seater chairlift of the latest D-Line generation from cable car manufacturer Doppelmayr from Wolfurt/Austria. Another unique feature is that different types of chairs are used in summer and winter operation.
The "Köhlerhagen / K1" chairlift, which opened in the Willingen ski area in December 2018, is considered the largest cable car project in the Sauerland to date - and is also the first D-Line 8-seater chairlift in Germany.
During the summer months, the ski area is transformed into the "Willingen Bike Park" - a real mountain bike paradise. To ensure that bikers can get to the Köhlerhagen in comfort, special chairs equipped with the innovative "BikeClips" from Doppelmayr are used. The solid, sophisticated mechanics and construction enable maximum safety and the best comfort for the transport of bikes and bikers.
