There is no way around this tour if you want to experience Willingen in all its glory. We start directly at the hotel and first ride via Schwalefeld into the nearby Stryck Valley, where we can enjoy the picturesque view of the Willingen Viaduct. Along our tour, we stop at the Willingen ski jump, the venue of the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup. Take a breather here with fresh waffles and delicious coffee specialties at Café Aufwind before continuing in the direction of “Neuer Hagen”. Once you arrive at the Hochheidetrail - the highlight of the tour - you can marvel at the picturesque Sauerland landscape in all its facets. Along the Hochheide hut at an altitude of 805 meters, the route continues along a trail next to the forest highway, which will get your adrenaline pumping once again with its rooty surface.

This tour through Upland is a nice change and addition to the Willingere MTB tours. This tour through the Upland villages is attractive in two respects, as a full-blown day tour with many beautiful views and sights awaits mountain bikers here. Although there are rarely any long climbs on this route, the constant ups and downs add up to almost a thousand meters in altitude and make the tour quite challenging. Discover Willingen, Schwalefeld, Rattlar, Hemmighausen, Eimelrod, Neerdar, Bömighausen, Welleringhausen and Usseln. You then return to the starting point at the tourist information office through the Strycktal valley. A beautiful day trip ends here.

The tour is a small appetizer, simply beautiful and the flowing trails make you want more. If you are planning a bike weekend in Willingen, don't miss out on the Kahle Pön tour if you arrive not too late. There's no better way to start your biking vacation. Let go of everyday worries and immerse yourself in nature: the plateau is home to a sea of heather in soft purple, spiced up with charming distant views. Another plus point of this tour is its family-friendliness. The children have fun on the trails and the adults can practise with them

Enjoy the picturesque landscape around Lake Diemelsee by bike. After starting in Willingen, the route takes you through the villages of Usseln, Eimelrod, Deisfeld and Benkhausen. The undulating route takes you via Sudeck to Heringhausen to Lake Diemelsee, along beautiful beaches to relax on and wonderful meadow and forest landscapes. Stop off at Göbel's Seehotel and take a break on our terrace overlooking the lake. Cycle around the Diemelsee along the dam wall, the lowest point of the route, before returning to Willingen via Bontkirchen and Schwalefeld. Enjoy the magnificent views of the Sauerland mountains, linger on the benches or directly on the banks of the lake or jump into the water for a refreshing dip.
Enjoy the many beautiful views on your tours and discover the most beautiful places to rest, e.g. the Clemens Cross on the Hochheide, the Hoher Eimberg, the Bruchhäuser Steine or the Orenberg with great viewpoints. The numerous managed huts in the surrounding area are always an insider tip for a stopover, including the Graf-Stolberg-Hütte, Ettelsberg Hütte, Einkehrschwung or the Hochheide Hütte.
We are also happy to provide you with further information about beautiful and attractive cycle routes and have maps available for you.
