What services are included in the room price?

All prices are per person and night incl. rich breakfast buffet & Göbel's feel-good bonus.

For Christmas, New Year's Eve, ski jumping, major events, carnival, Easter and other public holidays, minimum stays and special prices apply.

All prices are final prices and include the statutory VAT of currently 7 % on accommodation only and 19 % on other services as well as service charge.

Which additional services can be booked?

You can book the following additional services with us:

• Half board per person / night: 45 €

• Surcharge for single room per night: from € 30

• Extra bed incl. breakfast per person / night: € 45

• Lockable garage parking space per night: € 20

• Pets: € 20 per pet / night (only on request)
Please understand that we cannot allow pets in the restaurant and wellness areas.

Are there discounts for children?

We offer attractive fixed children's prices for families with children:

Children 0 - 4 years: free of charge
Children 5 - 9 years: 48 €
Children 10 - 14 years: 68 €

The prices are per child / night in the parents' room with at least one full-paying adult including breakfast.
Children are invited to dinner if the accompanying adults have booked half board.

Are there disabled-friendly / barrier-free rooms?

Unfortunately, we do not have any rooms suitable for the disabled or wheelchair users, but we can offer you a disabled-friendly room with partial barrier-free access, subject to availability. Please contact us by telephone for this.

Are there air-conditioned rooms & facilities?

The Romantik Hotel Stryckhaus unfortunately has no air-conditioned rooms or air conditioning.

Is WLAN / Internet available free of charge?

WLAN is available free of charge in all areas of our hotel and in your room. Simply log in to the “Stryckhaus guest network”. You do not need a password for this.

Are there charging stations for electric cars?

There are three charging stations for your electric car at the hotel (please bring a suitable charging cable), which you can use subject to availability and for a fee.

Is the hotel suitable for a hiking vacation?

We are “Wanderbares Deutschland” quality hosts and are therefore ideally equipped for hikers.

Our PLUS for hikers includes

• Rental of: Umbrellas, hiking poles, Nordic walking poles, rucksacks
• weather information
• Power packed lunch
• Hiking maps for hire or sale
• Drying room for your clothes
• Storage tray for hiking boots on request
• Cleaning equipment to borrow

Is smoking allowed in the hotel / in the rooms?

A good stay with us also includes a good smell. That is why all Göbel Hotels are non-smoking hotels. You are welcome to smoke on the balcony or terrace. If you smoke in your room, we will have to charge you the basic cleaning costs of € 350.

Is there a collection point for lost property?

If you have forgotten something during your last stay, please give us a call. Give us your name, room number, period of stay, lost property and your telephone number so that we can get back to you as soon as possible.

How do other guests like the hotel?

From what time are the rooms ready for check-in?

Your room will be available from 4 p.m. on the day of arrival. If you arrive earlier, there are two options:

1. depending on availability, we can give you a room before 4 pm. However, this cannot be guaranteed. Early check-in must always be arranged in advance.

2. you can store your luggage free of charge in our luggage room at any time and shorten the waiting time in the meantime with a tour of the city or a short coffee break.

Until what time is check-out possible?

You have until 11 a.m. on the day of departure to check out.

You are welcome to settle your room bill earlier in the morning, but the room will still be available to you until 11 am. If you need your room for longer, please contact reception.

How much does breakfast at the hotel cost?

Our rates already include the extensive breakfast buffet.

On request, you can also book our breakfast for €27.50 per person on the day of arrival or without a hotel stay.

Will my food intolerance be taken into account?

Of course. If you have any food intolerances, please let us know when you make your reservation so that you can always find a wide range of dishes to enjoy.

Which meals are included in half board?

• Breakfast as a buffet
• Dinner as a 3-course menu or buffet  

At what times is reception open? 

Our reception is open daily from 8 am to 10 pm. 

Can I park at the hotel?

Our hotel has a parking lot, which you are welcome to use free of charge at any time. It is not possible to reserve the free outdoor parking spaces.

However, we will be happy to reserve a lockable garage parking space for you for €20 per night.

How much is the visitor's tax?

The local tourist tax of currently 3 € per person / night (from 14 years) will be charged separately.

How often is the intermediate cleaning carried out?

Intermediate cleaning of your room during your stay will only take place on request. If you would like an intermediate cleaning, please let reception know by 6 pm the day before.

What are the opening hours of the wellness and sauna world?

• Sauna area: daily from 1 pm to 9.30 pm
  Bio sauna only on request
• Swimming pool: daily 7 am to 9.30 pm
• Outdoor swimming pool:
  ► from 16.02.2024:
  open by the hour; you can find out the exact times at reception
  ► in the summer months:
  daily 7 am to 9.30 pm
• Fitness room: daily from 7 am to 10 pm 
• Wellness treatments: Monday - Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm

Can I use the swimming pool and sauna area for longer on the day of arrival or departure?

Yes, you are welcome to enjoy the swimming pool and sauna area BEFORE 4 pm on the day of arrival - for a surcharge of €25 per person.

We will be happy to provide you with a bathing bag including bathrobe and towels.

After checking out on the day of departure, you can enjoy the SPA free of charge.

How and when can I contact the hotel reservations department?

You can reach our reservation department from Monday to Friday between 8 am and 6 pm by calling +49 5632 – 986 0.  On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays we are available from 10 am to 6 pm. We are also happy to receive your inquiries by e-mail at info(at)stryckhaus.de.

You can also book easily and conveniently at any time via our website.

Can our reservation requests be guaranteed?

We are happy to accept your room reservation request. Please understand, however, that for organizational reasons we cannot guarantee this.

What do I need to know about the booking prices?

We offer daily updated prices with best price guarantee. You can easily get the best available rate on our website - the prices and availability depend on the time of your booking, the general demand and the occupancy of the house for the desired period.

Please note the booking conditions, which vary depending on the rate you have chosen, in terms of prices and cancellation conditions before you select your rate. The conditions cannot be changed at a later date. You can find our cancellation conditions in the terms and conditions attached to your booking confirmation.

Are group bookings possible at the hotel?

For reservations of several rooms, simply send us an e-mail to info(at)stryckhaus.de.

Regardless of the regular occupancy, we only have a certain number of rooms available for groups per day. We will be happy to check this individually for your request.

Which payment options are supported at Göbel Hotels?

You can pay at check-in or check-out at reception. You can pay with cash, EC card, American Express, VISA, Maestro and Mastercard. A credit card is required to guarantee your booking, a debit card cannot be used.

What is the procedure for canceling or changing bookings?

Cancellations are only valid in writing.

►The following applies to all stays:
Your booking can be canceled free of charge up to 5 days in advance*.

*Except public holidays, deals, trade fairs, conferences, events, major events in Willingen, company rates. Public holidays can be canceled free of charge up to 14 days in advance, Christmas & New Year's Eve up to 21 days in advance. Special conditions apply for bookings of overnight stays incl. breakfast.

In accordance with DEHOGA guidelines, 90% of the accommodation or arrangement price will be charged for later cancellation or no-show, and 100% for rates and arrangements that cannot be canceled free of charge (if you have not taken out Safety First vacation insurance or travel cancellation insurance).

What is vacation insurance?

If unforeseeable events occur that make it impossible for you to start or complete your vacation, you can protect yourself against cancellation fees of up to 90% with our accident vacation insurance for a small fee starting at just €20 per person (calculated based on the number of overnight stays). We will be happy to send you the documents on request.

My company will cover the costs - what do I need to bear in mind?

It is important to note that we can only accept the assumption of costs if a company credit card is provided, from which we can debit the corresponding amount. Invoicing with subsequent bank transfer is only possible after prior written declaration of assumption of costs. After your departure, the specified card will be charged and you will receive the invoice by e-mail. 

We take data protection very seriously. We therefore ask for your understanding that, for security reasons, we cannot store credit card information manually. You can either fill out the form during the online booking process or alternatively use the corresponding form via a secure link when making a telephone inquiry.

Is my data safe with Göbel Hotels?

Your booking and your data are absolutely secure with us - this applies in particular to your credit card information and other personal data. We guarantee this via a secure https server; in addition, all booking information is SSL-encrypted and takes place in an appropriate environment.
