The Romantik Hotel Stryckhaus underwent the extensive environmental check for the first time in 2023 and achieved BRONZE. This means that it has been confirmed for its investments in the field of environmental and climate protection in recent years.
The hotel meets the criteria set by the Hotel and Restaurant Association in the four areas of energy and climate protection, water saving, waste disposal and food and is considered an eco-pioneer in environmental protection. With the DEHOGA award, the Stryckhaus can demonstrate an independent and transparent review of environmental standards.

Ecological, fair, regional and of the highest quality: The Romantik Hotel Stryckhaus has received the award for "Sustainable Gastronomy" because it acts in an above-average ecological and socially responsible manner. The Greentable seal "Sustainable Gastronomy" is a transparent award process for evaluating the sustainability performance of gastronomic establishments, in which various evaluation criteria must be met. The Stryckhaus offers, among other things, a selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, uses regional and seasonal products, ensures environmentally and climate-friendly processes in the restaurant and is committed to measures against food waste.
