What services are included in the room rate?

All prices are per person and night including service and VAT as well as use of the sauna and other rooms in the hotel, W-LAN and parking.

The rich breakfast buffet can be booked for 17 â‚¬ per person / day.

All prices are final prices and include the statutory VAT of currently 7% on the overnight stay and 19% for the other services as well as the service charge.
We reserve the right to adjust prices to the current situation in the event of inflation or VAT increases. All previous price lists will then lose their validity.

For Christmas, New Year's Eve, major events, Carnival, Easter and other holidays, minimum stays and special prices apply.

Which additional services can be booked?

You can book the following additional services with us:

• rich breakfast buffet per person / day: 17 â‚¬

• baby cot incl. bed linen: 15 € pro Bett

• pet per pet / night: 20 €

Are pets allowed?

Pets are welcome, we charge 20 € per pet per night (max. 1 pet per room possible).

Please notify us of your pet's visit before arrival and understand that we cannot allow pets access to the restaurant and sauna area.

Are there handicapped accessible rooms?

Yes, in the Lodge Hotel we have 7 handicapped accessible rooms and 1 wheelchair accessible room.

Is free WLAN / Internet available?

WLAN is available free of charge in all areas of our hotel and in your room.

What is the feel-good bonus?

To make sure you feel completely at home, every stay includes our feel-good bonus. This includes the following inclusive services:

• free use of
  • 90° sauna (on request between 2 - 5 p.m.)
  • bike / ski room (lockable)
• free parking directly at the hotel (subject to availability)
• free W-LAN
• 1 x coffee time in the afternoon with coffee & cake
  NOTE: Not available from 20.12.23 - 10.03.24.

What advantages does the Sauerland SommerCard offer me?

From the end of march to the end of October you will receive the Sauerland SommerCard from us for your stay of 2 nights and more - an all-inclusive card with many benefits and discounts for holidays without additional costs.

You can use buses and trains free of charge and get free admission to numerous leisure activities in the holiday world of Winterberg and the surrounding area.

After this period there is the normal SAUERLAND CARD >>, with which you can also use bus and train journeys free of charge and receive many additional price advantages throughout the Sauerland.

Is the hotel suitable for a cycling holiday?

Absolutely, our hotel is well prepared for cyclists.

Our PLUS for cyclists includes: 

• lockable room for your bicycles, mountain bikes, e-bikes
• central location close to the Bikepark Winterberg, the Bike Arena Sauerland, numerous trails and cycle paths
• healthy & varied breakfast

Is the hotel suitable for a skiing holiday?

Absolutely, our hotel is well prepared for skiers and winter lovers.

Our PLUS for winter tourists includes:

• lockable room for your skis, ski boots and accessories
• central location in the middle of the Sauerland winter sports arena
• direct proximity to the Winterberg ski lift carousel with 26 ski lifts (only 10 minutes walk)
• ski rentals and ski schools in the immediate vicinity
• easily accessible toboggan slopes & cross-country ski runs

Is the hotel suitable for a hiking holiday?

Yes, our hotel is very well prepared for hikers and has been awarded the "Qualitätsgastgeber Wanderbares Deutschland & Rothaarsteig" for this.

• central location near many hiking trails

• sauna
• rental or sale of hiking maps

Is smoking allowed in the hotel or in the rooms?

A good stay with us also includes a good smell. Therefore the Lodge Hotel Winterberg is a non-smoking hotel.

In case of a violation we have to charge the basic cleaning costs of 350 € for this reason.

Is there a collection point for lost property?

If you forgot something during your last stay, please send us an e-mail to info(at)lodgehotel-winterberg.de.

Please include your name, room number, period of stay, lost property and your telephone number, so that we can get back to you as soon as possible.

How and when is check-in and check-out?

Our reception is open daily from 8 am (for current times see info at reception).
 

Check In: 3 pm - 8 pm

â–º From 5 pm - 8 pm the evening check-in takes place in the Dorf Alm Winterberg right next door.

Check Out: 8 am to 11 am

What are the breakfast hours?

Our breakfast hours at the Lodge Hotel are daily from 7.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.

How much does breakfast cost in the hotel?

You can book the rich breakfast buffet for 17 â‚¬ per person and day.
 

You are also welcome to enjoy our breakfast without a hotel stay. Just drop by.

Price per person: 21,50 €
(children 4 - 10 years: 10,50 €, children up to 3 years free)

When is the Markt Alm directly in the hotel open?

Daily from 7.30 a.m. - 11.30 a.m.: large breakfast buffet

The Markt Alm is currently closed every day from 12 noon.

In our Dorf Alm Winterberg right next door you can enjoy delicious food, the right drinks, a cosy ambience and the best company.

At what times is the reception desk staffed?

Our reception is staffed daily from 8 am (for current times, see the information at the reception).

Sunday - Thursday we are on site from 8 am to 3 pm and can be reached by phone until 5 pm on +49 281 92 96 970. After 5 pm, please leave a message and we will get back to you.

Can I park at the hotel?

Free parking is available at the hotel and in the immediate vicinity.

How much is the visitor's tax?

The local visitor's tax of currently 3 € per person / night (from 15 years) will be charged separately.

How often is the room cleaned during the stay?

Intermediate cleaning of your room during your stay will only take place upon request. If you wish to have your room cleaned in between, please hang the green door tag on the door handle by 11 am or contact reception.

When will the sauna be open?

Our 90° sauna is located in the basement and is open from 12 - 8 pm; please register in advance at the reception.

Where can I leave feedback?

How and when can I reach the reservation desk at the hotel?

You can currently reach our reservation department by phone +49 (0)2981 / 92 96 970 (Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.) or the following e-mail address: info(at)lodgehotel-winterberg.de.

You can also book conveniently via our website at any time.

Can my reservation request be bindingly confirmed?

We are happy to accept your room reservation request. Please understand, however, that for organisational reasons we cannot guarantee your reservation.

What do I need to know about the booking prices?

We offer you daily updated prices with best price guarantee. It's easy to get the best available rate on our website at the time of your request.

Please also note the booking conditions, which vary in price and cancellation conditions depending on the rate you choose, before you select your rate. The terms and conditions cannot be adjusted afterwards. You can find our cancellation conditions in the terms and conditions attached to your booking confirmation.

Are group bookings possible?

For reservations of more than one room, please send us an e-mail to info(at)lodgehotel-winterberg.de.

Irrespective of the regular occupancy rate, we only have a certain number of rooms available for groups per day. We will be happy to check this individually for your request.

What payment options are available at the hotel?

You can pay with cash, Euro- and Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, Diners, American Express and Paypal.

What is the procedure for cancellations / changes to bookings?

Cancellations are only valid in written form.

â–º The following applies to all stays:
Your booking can be cancelled free of charge up to 5 days in advance*.

*Except high season winter, public holidays, holiday periods, deals, trade fair periods, conferences, events, corporate rates. Public holidays and vacation periods up to 14 days in advance, Christmas & New Year's Eve and Dirt Masters up to 21 days in advance, high season winter up to 28 days in advance cancellable free of charge. Separate conditions apply for overnight stays including breakfast.

According to DEHOGA guidelines, 90 % of the accommodation or package price will be charged for late cancellations or no-shows, and 100 % for packages and packages that cannot be cancelled free of charge (if you have not taken out a Safety First holiday cover or travel cancellation insurance).

Please be sure to read the booking conditions before making a reservation. To cancel or change your booking, you can always use the link in the confirmation or contact us by phone. If you book via external portals, please cancel directly via the respective portal.
